Shore Projects watches retail debut with Liberty

British Watch brand Shore Projects has signed its first retail partnership with prestigious London department store Liberty.

The seaside-inspired watch brand held out for the right partner, having already turned down a number of previous offers. Until now Shore Projects’ watches had been sold directly through the brand’s own website.

The brand’s four watches, based around a single design, and selection of fabric and Italian leather quick-change straps will go on sale in Liberty on November 11.

Jono Holt, Shore Projects co-founder, said: “We are thrilled to announce our first in-store exclusive retail partnership with Liberty’s, where Shore Projects will be stocked during the Christmas trading period. As a world class retailer and globally recognised brand, we felt Liberty best embodied the shopping destination of choice for the fashion-led consumer who are looking for the next new thing and up-and-coming brands.

“We also felt the unisex branded space made available to Shore Projects would help us communicate the strap mechanism best, an element which is integral to our brand and what our consumers love. We will be looking at the right collaborations on designs in the new year and are excited to see what 2015 will bring for the Shore Projects.”
