Sevenfriday, a fledgling Swiss watchmaker creating waves with its innovative industrial designs, was in Turkey this weekend for a summer games event where it launched a water sport-friendly watch protector.
A special edition sea blue watch with a blue rubber strap was launched at the games. It comes in a heavy duty box (HDB), a clear protective case that stops water, sand and mud getting into the mechanism.
Sevenfriday says it will test the HDB over the next few months before launching it generally in 2016 with a price of around £170, according to UK distributor MDS Time.
The sea blue watch was only available at the Turkey event, which was attended by 150 distributors, retailers and bloggers from around the world.
