The men of watch wholesaler Seiko UK are making like Ron Burgundy and going hairy for charity to raise money for men’s health charities as part of the now legendary initiative Movember.
The so-called Seiko Hairy Fairies team, which has 17 members all growing moustaches during month, has already raised £904, ranking it at #188 out of 20,879 teams in the UK.
The Seiko Hairy Fairies, who are taking inspiration from the moustachioed star of Anchorman, have described their motivation to moustache as a desire to “change the face of men’s health and embrace the beauty of the moustache, well for a month at least.”
A spokesperson for the Seiko Hairy Fairies said: “Men’s health is a cause we The Seiko Hairy Fairies are passionate about but in order to make a difference we need your help. Our commitment is to grow resplendent moustaches for the month of November and in doing so, raise vital awareness and funds for men’s health including prostate and testicular cancer.”
