SalonQP and QP magazine introduce new event concept ClubQP

SalonQP was forced to give up the dates of its 2019 show due to a diary clash with long-term venue, Saatchi Gallery

The team behind SalonQP and QP magazine are to introduce a new event concept to fill the void left by the cancellation of the watch exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery, usually held in November.

SalonQP and its associated magazine QP are to launch ClubQP, an event held on 27 and 28 November at Ten Trinity Square in London to bring together the ‘world’s finest watchmakers and watch enthusiast audiences’.

Earlier this year, WatchPro announced that SalonQP was forced to give up the dates of its 2019 show due to a diary clash with long-term venue Saatchi Gallery in London’s Chelsea.

At the time Alun Williams, managing director for Men’s Lifestyle and Health & Fitness at Hearst, which acquired SalonQP and QP magazine last year, said the exhibition would be back for 2020 and teased ‘a number of exciting QP-branded experiences in the pipeline’.

Taking place across two days in November, the inaugural ClubQP event will open with a VIP champagne reception evening on 27 November followed by a full day showcasing over 20 watch brands throughout 28 November.

The editors of QP will be hosting intimate talks with some of the world’s leading watch experts throughout the course of the day including live presentations from renowned watchmakers.
