Rotary thanks Royal British Legion volunteers with gifts of poppy-themed special edition watches

The support follows a collaboration between Rotary and the Legion to produce a watch for which a percentage of sales will be given to the charity.

Rotary has reinforced its relationship with the Royal British Legion by donating 10 special edition watches to poppy-selling volunteers raising money outside Chancery Lane station in London.

The support follows a collaboration between Rotary and the Legion to produce a watch for which a percentage of sales will be given to the charity.

“We are delighted to partner with the Royal British Legion and are confident our donations will support their insatiable work for the services community, I hope that this will be the start of a long partnership and we play some part in a successful 2018 Thank You campaign,” says Peter McKenna, CEO of Rotary Watches.

Catherine Davies, head of remembrance for the Royal British Legion, adds: “We are pleased to be partnering with Rotary to mark this centenary year and are very grateful for their generosity through donations from this limited edition timepiece.”

The special edition timepiece features special details to commemorate the centenary of the end of First World War. The 11th hour and the 11th day are coloured red, there’s a poppy at 12 o’clock and a poppy on the crown.
