Rotary launches new range of five pieces

Rotary has unveiled its new Legacy line, consisting of five timepieces ranging from automatic and sports to international travel.

The 121-year-old Swiss brand announced that the Legacy collection is aimed at both men and women and features the Legacy Automatic, the Legacy Ocean Automatic, the Legacy Chronograph, the Legacy GMT and the Legacy.

The Legacy Automatic contains a Sellita SW200 automatic movement and has sunburst stamped dials in a case ranging from 36-40mm. Other features include scratch resistant sapphire glass, a five link bracelet, a deployment clasp and waterproof capabilities.

Rotary said its Legacy Ocean Automatic is designed to be both practical and eye catching. The piece features luminescent ‘shield’ hour markers and faceted sword hands on an enamel dial with scratch resistant sapphire glass. It has an unidirectional rotating divers’ ceramic bezel with either a 36mm or 41.5mm case, is waterproof and has a solid five link bracelet.

The third watch in the line, the Legacy Chronograph is aimed at being an accurate time recorder for sportspeople. The new generation chronograph has an independent sweep second hand, which can be started, stopped, and returned to zero and features a ceramic or tungsten tachymeter fixed bezel for rapid calculations of acceleration or distance, according to the brand.

The Legacy GMT, designed for wearers who travel different time zones, has a fixed bezel with a 24-hour scale in order to indicate a second time zone. The GMT circular hour hand can be set independently from the other hands and the watch features a date window, 41.5mm case, luminescent hour markers and hands, sapphire glass, waterproof and five link bracelet.

Rotary said its Legacy watch aims to offer a sleek design and a 32-38mm case, sapphire glass, waterproof and emblematic five link bracelet.
