Rolex has added an 18ct yellow gold version of its Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller with — for the first time — a sporty Oysterflex strap with folding yellow gold clasp.
The strap looks and feels like rubber, but is described by Rolex as high-performance elastomer.
This year’s 42mm Sky-Dweller has a black, sunray dial with hands and hour markers in 18ct yellow gold presented within a fluted, rotatable bezel that is used to set the watch in conjunction with the Ring Command system.
The dual timer uses Rolex’s chronometer-rated calibre 9001 automatic movement with 72 hours of power reserve.
It goes on sale in October for £32,050 to £33,200.
