Romain Jerome is clearly very excited about the summer, releasing a new model with vibrant colour highlights contrasting strongly against black case and strap.
The Steampunk Auto Colours collection emblazons the automatic version of the brand’s Steampunk collection with a host of bright colours including blue, green, yellow, orange, red as well as brilliant white.
The model’s future/retro Steampunk design includes ‘rough’ hand-finishing on the surfaces of the indices. The black PVD-coated 50mm watch’s movement has been stripped back to provide a view of the perlage-finished, beadblasted and blackened bridges.
Colour-contrasting is further highlighted by using a black alligator strap stitched with thread colour-matched to the highlights on the watch body.
The Steampunk Auto Colours has a power reserve of 42 hours, propeller-shaped seconds subdial at 9 o’clock as well as hour and minute hands in the shape of anchors to complete the 20th Century nautical theme. Each colour is limited to 99 pieces.
