All eyes are on Qatar right now as the Fifa World Cup proceeds.
The football spectacular has come a little too early for Richemont to benefit from its latest TimeVallée multibrand luxury watch showroom, which is set to open in an extension of Doha’s Hamad International Airport.
It will be TimeVallée’s first airport duty free location outside of China, and signals a confidence that air travel around the world will continue to recover following years of covid-related restrictions.
It joins a network of over 30 prestigious TimeVallée stores that began launching across China and other Asian markets before heading West into Europe with a new showroom in Lucerne.
Another TimeVallée in the affluent travel retail sector will be unveiled next month when MSC Seascape, a luxury cruise ship, is officially launched at a ceremony in New York.
TimeVallée has a showroom on board the cruise ship.

The on board TimeVallée store carries watches from Cartier, Baume & Mercier, Hublot, IWC, Mont Blanc, Panerai and Tag Heuer.
