Richemont opens enrolment for specialist Masters Degree

Richemont Group’s Creative Academy has opened enrolment for its 10-month watch, jewellery and accessories Masters Degree. 

Open to just 20 participants, the 10-month course will feature workshops and ongoing interaction with Richemont’s watch maisons, among them Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC and Piaget.

Students embarking on the course will spend seven months studying and three month interning at maisons within the group.

During the course they will learn how to develop and create projects together with Richemont brands, partake in intensive design and manual rendering courses, and learn Photoshop, Illustrator, Key Shot and 3D program skills.

The Creative Academy’s art director is luxury goods designer Giampiero Bodino, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the field. He is also Art Director of the Richemont Group and a member of the Strategic Product and Communication Committee.

The Academy is headed by Franco Cologni, who had a long career with Cartier and held various management positions at Richemont Group, before becoming Chairman of the Cultural Committee of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva and of the Cologni Foundation for the Métiers d’Art in Milan.

The 10 month course is currently open to applications for 2017, and costs €10,000 + VAT.
