Richemont brands back enlightened Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030

A. Lange & Söhne, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-Lecoultre, Panerai and Piaget back sustainability and responsible business group.

A. Lange & Söhne, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-Lecoultre, Panerai and Piaget, as well as jewellers Dimexon, Mattioli, Pandora and Rubel & Ménasché have joined the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030, which was launched one year ago by Cartier, Kering, Chanel, Montblanc, Rosy Blue and Swarovski.

The global initiative is open to all watch and jewellery players and focuses on science-based climate change mitigation, biodiversity protection, sourcing ethical and sustainable materials and business innovation.

Commenting on the continued growth in members’ commitments, Iris Van der Veken, executive director and secretary general of the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030, said: “It is inspiring to see the unanimous response from CEOs and key stakeholders to drive positive change and accelerate collective action.
