Richard Mille and Paris Saint-Germain have signed a partnership agreement for the next three seasons that will see the luxury watch brand become the Parisian club’s Official Supplier.
The club is the richest in France, thanks largely to the investment of the Qatar Sports Investment, a sovereign wealth fund of the Qatar royal family.
Richard Mille has increased its investment in sport-related promotion. It already has high profile brand ambassadors including tennis champion Rafael Nadal, polo player Pablo Mac Donough, Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa, and most recently the sprinter Wayde van Niekerk.
Peter Harrison, CEO of Richard Mille EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), signed the deal, and commented: “We are delighted with our new partnership with Paris Saint-Germain, freshly anointed champions of France for the sixth year. Paris Saint-Germain’s commitment to excellence and innovation perfectly matches Richard Mille’s desire to create unique timepieces with a strong and uncompromising identity. The partnership will see the development of two special limited-edition watches, which will be available exclusively at Richard Mille’s Paris and Doha flagship stores.
