Richard Mille backs Polo Club Saint-Tropez

Richard Mille has signed as the official timekeeper of the Polo Club Saint-Tropez and has created an exclusive watch to mark the sponsorship deal.

The watch brand will have an official presence at the polo club and a Richard Mille Cup will be presented to the winner of The Open de Saint Tropez in August.

A watch has been made to mark the partnership, the RM 011 Polo de Saint-Tropez. The timepiece has a ceramic ATZ bezel and caseback, a grade 5 titanium caseband and navy blue and white colours on the dial and case to reference the Polo Club Saint-Tropez colours. The club’s logo has been engraved on the rear sapphire glass and the watch has created with a grey rubber strap with titanium buckle.

The watch, which has been limited to just 25 pieces, will go on sale at Richard Mille’s boutique in Harrods, as well as at other monobrand stores in Paris, Geneva and Dubai and the Polo Club Saint-Tropez shop.

The Polo Club Saint-Tropez is a 30-hectare green in the South of France that hosts 10 international tournaments between May and September each year. It regularly hosts dinners for players and celebrities.

Richard Mille has been linking up with the world of polo since 2011 when it signed polo player Pablo Mac Donough as a brand ambassador. The player wears a RM 053 Toubillon Pablo Mac Donough, a watch created in his honour and made to withstand the extreme conditions elicited by a polo match.
