Girard-Perregaux describes the latest addition to its Laureato family in contradictory terms.
It is practical and decadent; sporty while elegant.
The entire Laureato collection plays with the juxtaposition of octagonal bezels with circular forms and straight lines.
An update in 2019, known as the Laureato Absolute sub-family, brought more muscular and masculine styling and an upgrade in water resistance to 300 metres underlined their adventurous potential.
Now Girard-Perregaux has continued the oxymoronic development of the Laureato by creating a luxurious golden reference in the Absolute line of elegant sports watches.
The Laureato Absolute Gold Fever chronograph comes in a 44mm titanium case with black PVD.
It has a black dial with 18ct gold indexes, hands and counters and is worn on a rubber and gold fabric effect strap.
It is driven by the GP03300-1058 automatic movement with 46 hour power reserve.
The limited edition of 188 pieces is being made in collaboration with The Rake and Revolution magazines, and will be on sale exclusively at the titles’ eshops until mid-January for CHF 14,390, after which it can be sold through all authorised GP channels.
