Redd Retail Group promotes business development head to board of directors

Redd Retail Group has expanded its board of directors with the promotion of Danny Shiells from his previous role as business development head.

Mr Shiells has worked in the jewellery and watch industry for almost 25 years, managing relationships with luxury retailers and brands including TAG Heuer, Chopard, Raymond Weil and Zenith.

Along with business development, Mr Sheills has embraced multiple roles in the jewellery and watch industries over the years, including estimating, marketing, production and sales.

“I love the passion that the owners have for the business, and this was reflected when I met them before joining Redd. My background was working with brands and retailers in the watch and jewellery sector so that was a huge bonus to me that Redd concentrate specifically on this industry,” says Mr Sheills.

“I have been with Redd for just under a year now and I was trusted, and given authority to make decisions which made me feel a valued member of the team straight away,” he adds.

The Redd board of directors believe Mr Sheills will win new business in the UK and on an international level, and develop a winning team around him.

“He has a great character and always believes that Redd can create and deliver beyond what the client is expecting. Redd requires talented people like Danny to help build the structure necessary to take the business to the next stage of growth,” says Karl Turnbull, managing director for Redd Europe.
