Raymond Weil has announced the new maestro Moon Phase in its latest release.

The Swiss-based watchmaker has unveiled the new classically styled timepiece featuring a moon face indicator.

The new piece is powered by a Swiss automatic winding mechanical movement, the RW4280, and is presented in a 40mm diameter steel case.

Positioned at 6 o’clock is a moon-phase indicator which is visible through a crescent-shaped aperture.

The date is shown through the aperture located at 3 o’clock while the case-back is fitted with a pane of sapphire crystal, disclosing the mechanical movement.

It also features wave-like blue, silver or grey dial, Roman numeral hour markers and comes with either a matching blue leather strap or a steel mesh-type bracelet, both paired with a stainless steel folding clasp and a double push-security system.

The new release is set to retail between £1,250 and £1,350.
