Raymond Weil launches second House of Marley collaboration

The new tango GMT Bob Marley timepiece set for success after first edition sold out in 2017

Raymond Weil has released its its second House of Marley collaboration timepiece, the Bob Marley tango GMT Limited Edition.

The first collaboration of the two companies which produced the Bob Marley Caribbean Exclusive Limited Edition timepiece sold out in 2017.

Produced as a 1,500 piece limited, numbered series, the tango GMT Bob Marley Limited Edition is engraved with Bob Marley’s signature and the famous “time will tell” mention in reference to the successful title from his Kaya Album.

Cedella Marley, daughter of Bob Marley, said: “We are honoured to work with Raymond Weil on the creation of this timepiece that celebrates our father’s legacy and recognizes the artistic contribution of so many great musicians in this unique way.”

The water-resistant watch has a black dial which is decorated with an iconic lion head and is housed in a 42mm polished steel case with a GMT function.

Its colour palette is inspired by the Ethiopian flag and features sapphire crystal with a red second hand, green GMT hand and yellow circumference circle.
