Raymond Weil celebrates the birth of punk

Raymond Weil has channelled its inner punk to create a watch to celebrate its 11th year as official watch  and timing partner of the Brit Awards.

The Brit Awards, to be held at the O2 Arena on February 24th, will be honouring the 40th anniversary of the birth of punk in the same year that its Swiss watch partner celebrates its own 40th anniversary.

This punk-inspired 42mm Toccata watch is limited to just 70 pieces and features a distressed Union Jack on the dial. The stainless steel timepiece is also the first Raymond Weil to use a NATO-style strap, in this case with red, white and blue stripes.

Elie Bernheim, chief executive officer of Raymond Weil, said: “Raymond Weil is delighted to celebrate the long-standing and successful partnership with The Brit Awards with the launch of this striking punk-inspiredtoccata timepiece. There is a synergy and relationship that music and watchmaking have in common and music continues to be a significant part of the Raymond Weil DNA.”

The Brit Awards 2016 Special Edition will be presented to nominees, presenters and performers backstage at the show with a limited number also available through Raymond Weil’s retail network in the UK priced at £730.
