Raymond Weil is celebrating its debut appearance at Salon QP later this week by giving away a special edition watch worth more than £2,000.
The 45mm 2Cello Special Edition timepiece is a collaboration between the musically inspired Swiss watch brand and virtuoso Croatian cello duo, Luka Šulic and Stjepan Hauser.
The duo first attracted attention when they posted a cover of Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal on YouTube prompting Elton John to offer them a spot on his world tour. The special edition Freelancer, priced at £2,995, will benefit 2Cellos’ own charity, which aims at providing easy access to musical instruments and at developing the practice of music.
The titanium watch is equipped with a mechanical movement with chronograph, day and date complications and a 46 hour power reserve. On the dial four ‘cello strings’ follow the minute track while a red, bow-shaped chronograph seconds hand marks the passage of time. The exhibition caseback features the signatures of 2Cellos.
Visitors to Salon QP will be able to enter a draw to win the watch by completing a survey at the show.
