Raymond Weil boosts warranties with RW Club

Raymond Weil has launched a new retail initiative for UK customers called the RW Club, enabling Raymond Weil owners to extend the warranty of their timepiece.

The new scheme provides customers registering online for the club with an International Guarantee Certificate.

The brand says the primary objective of scheme is to support its customers by making a stronger statement about the confidence it has in the design, quality of materials, workmanship and manufacture of its watches.

Raymond Weil UK brand director Craig Leach said: “The Raymond Weil timepiece owner is asked to register their watch with the RW Club, an online community hub that offers Raymond Weil watch enthusiasts a unique opportunity to engage with the brand in a personalised way.

"Once registered the watch owner will then gain access to a customised certificate as proof of club membership and will automatically receive the extended guarantee for three years from the date of purchase”.

This certificate must be taken, with the original watch guarantee card into any official Raymond Weil retailer should the watch require repair due to manufacturing fault.

The guarantee card must be completed at point of sale with the model number, serial number and date of purchase together with the official stamp. Batteries are not covered under Raymond Weil guarantees however, Swico, the brand’s authorised after sales service centre in the UK will cover batteries for the first 12 months from date of purchase only.

Replacement batteries, water resistance and accidental damage are not covered by the guarantee.

Each watch that is serviced by Swico will be returned with its owner’s Maintenance Guarantee that covers the repair undertaken for 24 months.
