Daniel Wellington remains one of the best-selling quartz watchmakers in the UK, and earns its place in our Watches of the Year by virtue of its continuing commercial success and trend-defining style.

It remains the Scandi-design watch to beat, and even opened its own retail outlet this year in the main plaza of London’s Covent Garden.

Picking a favourite is not easy, so we decided brand ambassador Kendall Jenner could give us a steer.

We noticed she has been wearing the Petite Sterling with a silver-coloured steel case and mesh bracelet in her early publicity shots that generated around a squillion likes on Instagram, so that is the model we feature here.

The £109 slim 28mm watch is available in several colour combinations including white on silver and black on rose. Jenner went for black on silver, which is good enough for us.
