QUARTZ WATCHES OF THE YEAR: Citizen Promaster Diver

Citizen diver

From the brand that introduced the world’s first analogue quartz watch in 1976 comes the latest Eco-Drive ISO-compliant dive watch, the Promaster Diver.

The £299 watch in a stainless steel case and an attractive blue dial is both good looking and practical.

It is powered by light, so never needs a battery, and is protected by a screw-back case and screw-down crown, making it water resistant to 200 metres.

The dial, with its uni-directional elapsed time bezel, is housed behind anti-reflective crystal.

Citizen has made the Promaster Diver one of its key promotional pieces this year, featuring the watch on in-store POS merchandising, print and digital advertising and even television commercials ahead of Christmas.
