Quadrant2Design conjurs up instant pop up shops

The increasing popularity of pop up shops, which take short-term occupancy of empty retail space on Britain’s high streets has created demand for the creation of professional store builds in an instant.

Meeting that demand has become a lucrative sideline for exhibition stand builder Quadrant2Design, which markets the Prestige Events System.

Swiss-designed Prestige Events system has been modified by Quadrant2Design to create the world’s first bespoke Popup Shop System.

“Until recently most pop up shop designs have been down-to-earth, improvised and a little amateurish. However, when big players like BMW and Ebay joined the game, pop up shops faced a new imperative to be creative and provide ROI. The novelty has become a legitimate marketing strategy, and must be treated with respect,” said Harvey Hancock, communications executive for Quadrant2Design.

The new PopShop is constructed from lightweight, but extremely strong, aluminium popup frames. The structural advantage of Prestige is two-fold: firstly, it is easy and quick to build. Secondly, Prestige stands have no need for special tools or knowledge, meaning that they can be built, by the retailer, at no extra cost.

All Prestige graphics are panoramic, magnetising to the erected framework in seconds. The result of this is a strong brand on your PopShop. Other features include the option to integrate brightly lit product showcases and ‘floating-effect’ digital screens.
