Q&A: UNO de 50 on exhibiting at IJL

UNO de 50’s wholesale director for North America and the UK market, David Azulay, answers our questions about exhibiting at this year’s International Jewellery London (IJL) exhibition at Olympia between 4-6 September, and where the brand is headed in 2016.

WP: What are your brand’s goals in the UK in 2016?

DA: The goal is to be present in the best stockists all over the country with an excellent and premium presence. Increase our brand exposure and do it with the right partners.

WP: What progress have you made in the last 12 months?

DA: In the last 12 months UNOde50 has opened great stores in the country; we have opened our flagship store in London, Regent Street and we are in conversations with the main department stores such as Liberty, Selfridges and John Lewis.

WP: What are you looking to achieve by exhibiting at IJL?

DA: At IJL we feel that we can meet with these great retailers we want to be with. We also feel that it is an excellent exposure for the brand as the main jewellery show in the UK.

WP: What will you be showcasing?

DA: We will be showcasing our Silver and Gold Collection. Both Classics and presenting the new Fall Winter 2016 Collection.
