Prestons has promoted Lauren Cook to the role of general manager.

She joined Prestons, one of the country’s leading authorised dealers for Rolex and Patek Philippe, in 2014 as a sales and marketing executive at the company’s Rolex boutique in Leeds, having previously worked as a diamond consultant at Rox in the same city.

Within a year, Ms Cook was promoted to marketing manager where she has raised the profile of the Prestons brand through innovative campaigns, particularly across digital platforms.

“From starting out in sales in our Rolex boutique in Leeds, Lauren quickly and from her own initiative began to critique some of the marketing we were delivering particularly social and our web activity.  Promoting her to marketing manager was a natural step. In the 5 years she has embraced every aspect of the business and this new title is truly reflective of her day to day responsibilities,” says Karl Massey, Prestons managing director.

Ms Cook officially starts in her new role on March 1.
