IN PICTURES: Shinola’s pop-up presentation at Clerkenwell Design Week

American watches and accessories brand Shinola headed to fashionable East London enclave of Clerkenwell last month in an effort to catch the eye of trendsetters at Clerkenwell Design Week.

A striking all-black installation called The Bolt was made from thousands of black steel lightening bolts, a symbol that Shinola uses across its watches and lifestyle products that now includes everything from vinyl turntables and headphones to leather goods and bicycles.

John Argento, managing director, Europe of Bedrock Manufacturing, parent group of Shinola, gave WatchPro a tour of the installation, and said that the watchmaker’s business is growing at a measured pace in Britain.
