Mappin & Webb held the official re-opening of its Glasgow flagship boutique on the famous Argyll Arcade this week following a three-month refurbishment.
Guests were given a demonstration of Mappin & Webb’s watchmaking skills with a presentation into the intricate workings of mechanical watches.
Jamie Fraser, boutique manager at Mappin & Webb Glasgow, gave a tour of the store, which is set across two floors and joined by a marble staircase.
The boutique offers over 2,280 sq ft of retail space offering luxury timepieces and fine jewellery from Jaeger-LeCoultre, Chopard, Cartier, TAG Heuer and Breitling collections.
Brian Duffy, CEO of Mappin & Webb’s parent company Aurum Holdings, said: “We feel we have achieved what we wanted with this boutique, which was to rekindle a sense of heritage, excellence and prestige – qualities that both Mappin & Webb as a brand and our surroundings here in Glasgow represent.”
