Peter Jackson debuts Aviator watches with flying lesson promotion

Bury-based jeweller Peter Jackson is offering customers the chance to win a flying lesson for two when they buy an Aviator watch.

The company launched Aviator watches last weekend with a promotion that included additional branding and displays both in-store and on the stree.

Staff were kitted out in Bristol Scout t-shirts, which pay homage to the brands partnership with the iconic World War I biplane, and customers were offered a classic leather flying helmet and goggles as a gift with purchase.

Peter Jackson MBE, managing director of the jeweller said: “The Aviator event was well received in Bury and we look forward to a long and successful relationship with the brand.”

Aviator is managed in the UK by Mark Ryder of Ryder Brands, who added: “Not only did the event showcase the brand in the strongest sense to the end consumer, it helped to build support in store for Aviator from the sales staff who will be selling the product to the customers. We know that it’s vital to support the efforts of the stores we work with, and show that Aviator is keen to build a long term partnership with the retailers who invest into the brand. We hope to hold many more events in the future as the retail network continues to grow.”

As Aviator builds distribution in the UK, it plans to work closely with specific retailers on a local level to support their sales efforts and by using their partnerships, such as the collaboration with Bristol Scout, to reach a wider market and broaden the demographic.

Aviator watches retail from £295 and feature Swiss quartz and automatic pieces, all manufactured in 316L stainless steel with sapphire crystal.
