Perrelet introduce two rose gold timepieces

By Jessica Knowles

Perrelet has released two new rose gold pieces: the Tourbillon Black and Rose Gold as well as a rose gold addition to the brand’s Turbine range.

The new limited edition Turbine has a 44mm diameter and an 18 carat rose gold-coated subsidiary wheel. The hands, Arabic numerals and hourmarkers are luminous and the steel case is black DLC-coated with an exhibition back. The lugs are crafted from solid gold, contrasting with the black crocodile leather strap.

The Turbine Black & Gold special edition is issued in a 77-piece limited series as a reference to 1777, the founding year of the Perrelet brand. Its automatic P-331 movement was developed on the Manufacture A10 base caliber. It beats at 28,800 vph and is endowed with a 42-hour power reserve.

The Tourbillon is said to be the finest watch Perrelet has produced and will be limited to a 20 piece run. The new Tourbillon has an extra large 50mm diameter two-tone case made up of a rose gold bezel and black stainless steel, which houses the new tourbillon; visible at 12 o’clock on the dial. The automatic P-311 tourbillon movement was developed for Perrlet in collaboration with MHVJ, a sister company within the group and has a 65-hour power reserve.

The Turbine has an RRP of £15,000 whilst the Tourbillon retails at £81,000. Both pieces will be available from the end of July.
