Professional climber Ethan Walker has become a brand ambassador for Elliot Brown Watches, a British business that makes ultra-tough timepieces for athletes and adventurers.
Mr Walker grew up in the Peak District and has been climbing for 23 years. Today he is one of a small, exclusive group of British climbers who have climbed some of the world’s most difficult routes. His personal achievements include sport climbing up to 8c+, bouldering V14 and Trad climbing a number of routes up to E9.
“Elliot Brown stands for strong, durable and solid – rather like the mountains and hills surrounding us – and we’ve designed our watches to cope with the extraordinarily harsh demands of pursuits like climbing. Mr Walker will wear the Elliot Brown Canford watch with a leather strap. The Canford has a Swiss-made movement secured inside a custom shock-absorbing case machined from solid marine-grade stainless steel that is pressure tested in water at 200m.
