Paul Halliday has left Accurist after eight years to join watch distributor Peers Hardy.
Halliday joined Accurist in December 2005 and held the position of sales director. In his new role at Peers Hardy he will head up the Ice-Watch and Radley brands as well as introducing new labels to the market.
Halliday said: "’I am thrilled to be joining a growing organisation which has an ethos of investing in its brands and infrastructure as well as working with passionate and talented individuals. Peers Hardy has outperformed many of its competitors in recent years and has grown rapidly in spite of the challenging economic climate. Ice-Watch is now an established brand and Radley watches, which are in still in their infancy, have had an incredible launch. I’m really excited to be part of the team."
Peers Hardy sales and marketing director Paul Harry said that the appointment of Halliday comes after a solid year of growth for the business.
He added: "Our UK domestic business grew for the seventh consecutive year in 2013 and we are delighted to welcome Paul to the team to ensure that trend continues. Paul brings with him a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise that will prove invaluable to us as we build a structure to take the business to the next level."
