Watches of Switzerland has officially opened its new showroom in Manchester after completing a move from King Street to St Ann’s Square.
The two floor space is considerably larger than the King Street unit, giving space for an in-house Patek Philippe boutique as well as branded areas for Swiss watch brands including Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC, and Omega.
It is also the only agent for Hublot in Manchester and will house a qualified watchmaker as well as an on-site service centre for any repairs.
Rolex is not offered in the Watches of Switzerland store because Mappin & Webb, also owned by Aurum Holdings, and David M Robinson — both on St Ann’s Square — are both Rolex agents.
“The new showroom in St Ann’s Square is designed and configured to offer the most luxurious environment possible and create an unforgettable watch buying experience,” says Aurum Holdings CEO Brian Duffy.
To celebrate the new opening, Patek Philippe is hosting an exhibition of World and Travel Timer timepieces, Annual Calendars, chronographs and perpetual calendars.
