Panzera has unveiled its new Flieger 47 Mechanica pilots collection for Baselworld, designed as a tribute to the advancement and history of aviation.
Currently there are only limited stockists in the UK but it is claimed that they sell well with retailers.
It features a seconds hand tipped with red and white stripes symbolic of the propeller blades used in aircraft from yesteryear and a decorated case back depicting the blades of a jet turbine used in the aircraft of today.
Powered by a robust Miyota mechanical automatic movement with day and date function, and combined with tough proprietary S-LEX crystal, the 47mm timepiece is designed to capture the attention of watch and aviation enthusiasts alike.
Most of the collection falls below £500.
