Richemont brand Panerai is celebrating 70 years since the introduction of the tritium-based luminous substance Luminor.
The Luminor name went on to become the brand’s most iconic model range, and this year Panerai has devoted its entire launch programme to the family, including a series of Luminor Marina models.
The Luminor Marina 44mm uses the latest generation of Super-LumiNova to enhance the illuminating effects that the Luminor range has been famous for since 1950.
Powering the watch is a P.9010 calibre, designed and manufactured by Panerai itself.
This automatic movement is only 6mm thick and has a power reserve of three days.
Water resistant to 30 bar, the watch is fitted with a strap made of Panerai Sportech and also comes with a second rubber strap, which is blue with a titanium tongue buckle.
Panerai is so confident in the quality of the Luminor Marina 44mm that it comes with a 70 year warranty.
