Everybody with a passion for top end German motoring knows that a Brabus stamp on a Mercedes Benz means a more extreme, higher performance, customised version of the original car.
Brabus personalisation and tuning is not confined to just Mercedes cars, its expertise has also been applied to other carmakers and even powerboats.
Panerai has been partnering with Brabus since 2021, and the alignment is extending into 2023 with the launch of a Submersible S Brabus Verde Militare Edition, a companion watch for owners of the Brabus Marine Shadow series of luxury powerboats.
As with all Brabus-branded projects, quantities are small, with just 200 of the 47mm Carbotech watches going on sale priced at £45,500.
The watch has khaki green details including the tips of its hour, minute, second time zone and small second hands and hour markers.
It is powered by the Panerai automatic P.4000 movement, which is exposed thanks to a skeletonised dial and an exhibition case back.
It is sold with two straps, one made for diving in green rubber matching the khaki accents of the watch, the other a sandwich of black calf leather on a rubber base.
