Oris upsizes classic designs for women seeking versatility

Swiss watch brand Oris has revealed that it has widened its range of case sizes to meet the demands of style-savvy women looking for a versatile wristwatch.

Oris has now unveiled its first two Oris Artelier Date Diamonds models with a 33mm case. Previously, the Artelier Date Diamonds was only available with a 28mm case.

The new models share the same architecture and performance, and are distinguished only by the choice of guilloché dials; one silver and one anthracite. Both dials are decorated with 12 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The new models have stainless steel cases, automatic Swiss-made mechanical movements with a date function, see-through mineral crystal case backs, and a choice of straps and bracelets.

The slim, fluid lines of the cases and lugs were designed to respect the traditions of Swiss watchmaking, while also reflecting contemporary tastes for subtler forms.

The watches’ nickel hour markers are individually polished and applied, while the art deco-inspired guilloché dials are decorated with a repeating motif that creates the impression of finely-woven silk.

All Oris watches feature mechanical movements and are finished and assembled by hand, remaining true to the traditions and values laid down by the company’s founders in 1904.

The hand-finished Artelier models are the contemporary interpretation of Oris’s rich watchmaking heritage and a sign of the company’s vision to move Swiss watchmaking traditions forward into the future.
