Oris clean up day 1

Oris invites Londoners to join its World Clean up Day march

Participants will gather at the Oris Boutique on South Molton Street (near Bond Street Station) on Sunday, September 19, at 10am.

Oris was one of the first and most passionate advocates for sustainability in the Swiss watch industry, and recently declared itself to be a carbon neutral company.

Its efforts range from raising money and awareness for huge ocean clean up campaigns down to small differences like using recycled materials for its office coffee cups.

Londoners are invited this weekend to find out more about the Oris ideology by taking part in a Clean Up Day in the city.

Clean Up Days have been running for several years with Oris staff, friends and other volunteers picking up man made waste from beaches, riverbanks and other natural beauty spots.

The London event is more about education than backbreaking litter picking.

Participants will gather at the Oris Boutique on South Molton Street (near Bond Street Station) on Sunday, September 19, at 10am.

They will be given health and safety equipment such as hi–vis bib and taken on a walk around the surrounding area to mark World Clean up Day.

The walk lasts about an hour and then everyone heads to the Oris boutique for breakfast refreshments where they will learn more about the Change for the Better programme at Oris and what they can do to help.
