Oris has made a return to the world of Formula One with its latest release.
Paying homage to racing legend Robert Kubica, the new piece is based on Oris Williams Day Date.
The new watch, the Oris Robert Kubica Limited Edition, features a central seconds hand and a minute track in the red of the pole’s national flag.
Limited to just 250 pieces, it features a 42mm stainless steel case, top glass sapphire, anti-reflective coating and is water resistant to 100m.
Robert Kubica was the first Polish driver to race in motor sport’s top tier and now, having battled his way back from serious injury, is the Williams team Reserve & Development Driver.
The namesake wristwatch has a 38 hour power reserve and will retail from £1125 when it is made available later this month.
