A competition to design a new dial for Eberhard & Co’s Champion V watch has been won by a member of French online forum Forumamontres.
The Swiss watchmaker had challenged the online forum community to create a new dial for the Champion V, a key model in the Eberhard portfolio.
Forums members were involved in selecting a shortlist of designs, which were then evaluated by a technical jury of international watch journalists and by Eberhard & Co chief executive Barbara Monti.
First prize went to Lundi, a member of Forumamontres. Meloide from Orologiepassioni and JMunchow from Watchuseek ranked second and third.
