Omega upgrades to platinum-gold for surprise Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond watch

Numbered edition shares the 007 design elements with its steel sibling including the enamel black dial with the iconic rifling pattern from the inside of Bond’s gun barrel presented in white gold.

James Bond fans eagerly awaiting the premiere of No Time to Die on November 20 will not have to wait that long to get their hands on a platinum-gold version of the Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond watch that launched as a limited edition in steel at the end of last year to mark the 50th anniversary of the movie franchise.

The platinum-gold version shares the 007 design elements with its steel sibling including the enamel black dial with the iconic rifling pattern from the inside of Bond’s gun barrel presented in white gold.

It has a hidden number 50 within the Super-LumiNova of the number 10 on the dial, a reference to the 50th anniversary, a 007 logo at 7 o’clock on the white enamel minute track, as well as 18ct white gold features including the hands, indexes and Bond family coat-of-arms at 12 o’clock.

Its 42mm case has a platinum–gold plate with each watch’s unique production number.

The dial is framed with a black ceramic bezel ring with a platinum diving scale in positive relief.

Its case back has another Bond family coat-of-arms laser-engraved and filled with platinum on the sapphire crystal caseback, thorough which the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8807 can be seen.

It will go on sale at Omega boutiques and authorised dealers in October for £41,740.

It comes on a black leather strap with an additional rubber strap in a 007-style presentation case.
