Omega has formally unveiled its new brand ambassadors, Kaia and Presley Gerber at a Paris Fashion Week Party.
Omega is running an exhibition in Paris called Her Time that celebrates its ladies timepieces.
Star of the opening night was Cindy Crawford, an ambassador for Omega for 20 years, and mother of models Kaia and Presley Gerber.
Ms Crawford took to the stage with Omega president and CEO, Raynald Aeschlimann, to formally welcome the extension of her ambassadorial role to her offspring.
“My journey with Omega has been incredible and I know that Kaia and Presley will enjoy working with the brand as much as I have. They are both talented in their own unique ways and I’m so proud that they will be the next ambassadors for these fantastic watches,” said Ms Crawford.
“Kaia and Presley represent the next generation of watch wearers. They are good looking, motivated, inspirational and full of energy. It’s incredible to have such a passionate family tradition within our brand and I’m so excited to now begin working with these two incredible young people,” Mr Aeschlimann added.
The Omega Her Time exhibition is on a world tour that has already landed in Milan, Moscow, Shanghai and Sydney.
It charts the evolution of Omega’s women’s timepieces and changing styles, from early Lèpine pendants and the Ladymatic, through to secret jewellery watches and today’s latest creations. The watches are complemented in the exhibition by examples of vintage artwork and classic Omega advertising, all of which show women in a variety of lifestyles and fashions throughout the years.
There are currently no plans for the Omega Her Time exhibition to come to the UK.
To mark the announcement of Kaia and Presley joining the roster of Omega ambassadors, a special portrait of the entire family — Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber, and Kaia and Presley Gerber — was then revealed. Captured by the renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh on Malibu Beach in California, it is the first official picture featuring all four family members together.
