Aston Martins were parked like sentries by the red carpet and the Bollinger champagne was flowing at this week’s launch party for an Omega pop-up boutique in Mayfair’s historic Burlington Arcade.
Omega opened the boutique to mark the twice-rescheduled premier of the new James Bond movie No Time To Die, which opens in cinemas this weekend.
Guests at the Omega party were clearly agreeing with film executives that covid is sufficiently manageable as they crammed into the narrow Victorian shopping arcade.
Omega has turned its temporary space into a watch shop with a private members’ club feel where 007 would feel at home with a shaken not stirred martini.
It is presenting a selection of exclusive behind the scenes imagery by Greg Williams, and an exhibition area including special props from the James Bond archives.
A selection of Omega watches associated with several James Bond movies are also on display.
The pop up is open until the end of December and is open to the public.
