Omega aids local food bank with Dallas opening

Omega celebrated its Dallas boutique opening with a philanthropic evening at which it is believed to have donated $100 (£62) for every guest in attendance to a local children’s food bank.

The new store marks the first US opening for the brand in 2013, and the 27th Omega standalone store. It was launched with a cocktail party and dinner in partnership with the North Texas Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids program.

According to WWD the brand pledged $100 to the Food 4 Kids program for each guest that attended the evening do. The event drew local socialites as well as the brand’s president Stephen Urquhart, who was there to cut the ribbon on the storefront.

The North Texas Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids program provides food for underprivileged elementary school children across the Dallas area.
