Olivia Burton has released a vegan-friendly watch where the only animal involvement is the charcoal-style sketch of a bunny on the dial.
The Woodland Bunny, which is priced at £70, features a hand sketch print of the rabbit on a white dial with a gold tone case and vegan-friendly black strap, a first for the British fashion watch brand.
Olivia Burton acted in response to ‘overwhelming customer response’ for a vegan-friendly option with its collection and created this model in-line with its woodland and animal print styles.
Founders Jemma Fennings and Lesa Bennett believe the addition of this animal-friendly model now makes the brand even more accessible to consumers.
The move from the London-based brand brings to mind the recent success of Raymond Weil’s Beatles watch, first unveiled by WatchPro. During the development of the design, leather strap options were vetoed because of Paul McCartney’s vegan views.
