Mr Porter was given a one week head start on other UK retailers with the latest Metro, Tangente and Tetra collections from Nomos.
The German watch brand went on sale at Mr Porter for the first time today (September 10).
All watches house the DUW 3001 automatic movement that Nomos created in house in 2015.
The online gentleman’s department store selected the collections because of their design credentials, price point and appeal to its fashion-conscious customer base, Mr Porter managing director Toby Bateman told WatchPro at a press briefing this morning.
The DUW 3001 is used in a larger 38.5mm case for the first time in the Metro and Tangente neomatik 39 collections.
It appears in a square, 33 x 33mm steel case in the Tetra neomatik range.
The Metro family ranges in price from £3000 in a steel case with white dial up to £7000 in a rose gold case.
Tangente and Tetra models, all in steel cases with white, midnight blue or silvercut faces, cost £2710 – £2980.
