Nomos Glashütte creates waves with two new models

Nomos Glashütte is looking to make waves with its two latest additions, due for release in July.

The German watchmaking company has built on its Aqua Neomatik Siren series with two new watches for water.

Both new pieces are based on the current Club and Ahoi models and powered by Nomos’ neomatik calibre.

The two automatic timepieces are water-resistant to 200 meters.

Their dials aim to brighten up the Aqua series and can tell the time after sunset with superluminova technology.

They are powered by the neomatik calibre DUW 3001 from Nomos Glashütte.

At 3.2 millimetres in height, the timepiece takes a few motions of the arm to wind it fully as the pace-setting part of this calibre is the Nomos swing system.

Ahoi Neomatik Siren white is available in 36 millimetres, while the Club model is larger, with a 37-millimeter diameter.

Like the current models of the series, these new water-resistant timepieces come with a tailor-made textile strap in light grey, which is designed by Nomos Glashütte and woven to the company’s exact specifications in France.

The new models will be made available from July.
