Nomos Glashütte has scooped a second international design award for its Ahoi wristwatch in two years, taking the iF product design award.
"To win two such important prizes for a new model is a huge accolade for us," said Judith Borowski, responsible for branding and design at NOMOS Glashütte.
The watch, released last year, was a favourite with the international panel of design experts sitting on the iF product design awards judging panel, which has been honouring excellent design for 60 years and is one of the oldest and most renowned prizes in the field.
The clean, sporty Ahoi was first honoured with the Good Design Award 2013, one of more than 100 accolades garnered on the German watch manufacture including iF design awards for Nomos Glashütte’s Tangomat GMT Plus and Zürich models in 2013 and 2012 respectively.
An award ceremony will take place on February 28 in Munich.
