Michel Herbelin is connecting its past to the future with a new model in its Newport Héritage collection sporting the french watchmaker’s fresh new logo.
HERBELIN appears on the dial (without the founder’s name Michel) at 12 o’clock on a Newport Héritage Diver, which comes in a cushion-shaped 42m case with a blue dial fading from light at the centre to almost black at the outer edge and framed by a circular blue ceramic bezel.
The watch is based on a design from the 1970s, but is brought up to date with sapphire glass on the front and back, a Sellita automatic movement and a contemporary blue rubber strap.
Hours and minutes hands of the 300 metre water resistant watch are filled with blue lume, and the dial has a bold day and date display at 3 o’clock.
Michel Herbelin has priced the watch at €1,290.
