A new watch brand called Sekkai has been founded by stalwart of the watch industry, Andrew Coombs.
Having run his own company designing and installing bespoke POS and displays for other watch brands for 21 years, Coombs has decided to have a go himself.
Speaking to WatchPro, Coombs described himself as a “frustrated artist” and said that he wants art to be at the core of everything about Sekkai, from its display to its media presence.
“I’m an entrepreneur by nature and have always wanted to create my own brand,” Coombs told WatchPro. “[Sekkai is] a brand with a fresh  and innovative approach to watch brand image and an outside-the-box viewpoint.”
The watches themselves have an industrial-inspired design and will be priced at £39-105.
