Rotary is harking back to its work with the British Army in the 1940s by releasing two limited edition watches for the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
Rotary said that one of its most important contributions to watchmaking was during the 1940s when, due to a shortage of British watchmakers, it was selected as an official supplier to the British Army.
Marking a bumper 2020 for the brand, Rotary is also celebrating its own 125th anniversary this year.
In honour of VE Day on March 8th, the brand is releasing two new titanium, military-inspired timepieces.
Both self-winding, the watches come with a 42mm fully titanium case, flat sapphire glass, and are waterproof up to 100m.
Limited to just 300 pieces, the GS05249/04 with khaki canvas strap and sword & Ox feature hour hand comes at £249.
The titanium-strap GB05249/04, meanwhile, is also limited to 300 pieces and comes at £399.
Bought the watch with khaki strap. Really fantastic watch and for the price a real darling. Importantly my purchase pays tribute to the British Army.
